Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Step 2

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Step 3

Coarsely chop the pecans and mix in a bowl with the oats, puffed quinoa or rice, chia seeds, and flaxseed. Add a pinch of salt and mix.

Step 4

Mix the melted coconut oil with the liquid Meli honey and the orange zest. Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well. Is the mixture too dry? Add more melted coconut oil.

Step 5

Spread the granola out onto the baking tray and make sure it is evenly distributed. Bake for 12 minutes in the oven.

Step 6

Meanwhile, cut the Meli honey cake into small cubes.

Step 7

Remove the granola from the oven, add the honey cake, and mix well.

Step 8

Bake for another 8 to 10 minutes until the granola is nicely golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool. Store in an airtight jar.
