Oriental pork skewers with honey-peanut sauce

- HONEY PEANUT SAUCE:
- tbsp peanut butter
- tsp soy sauce
- tsp ground cumin
- Meli honey to taste

- ml coconut milk
- tbsp oil
Instructions

Step 1
Cut the meat into wide strips and, if necessary, flatten them slightly. Finely chop the garlic and grate 1 tsp of fresh ginger.

Prepare a marinade with the soy sauce, oil, lemon juice, ginger, honey, garlic, turmeric, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Place the meat in the marinade and leave it in the refrigerator overnight.

Thread the meat strips onto skewers and sprinkle with a little salt. Grill the skewers until golden brown in a bit of oil and a small amount of the marinade.

Tip
Marinate the skewers overnight in the fridge.

HONEY PEANUT SAUCE

Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan and briefly sauté the finely chopped garlic and grated ginger.

Step 2
Add the peanut butter, soy sauce, ground cumin, coconut milk, sambal, and honey. Stir well until smooth and heat over low heat.

Step 3
Serve the skewers with the warm peanut sauce.

Delicious with rice or a fresh salad!
